I’m Nathan Rawlinson - strength coach at No Limits Strength.

 I help busy professionals get ridiculously strong with coaching that’s supportive, simple, and built around real life.

Why I coach the way I do

 I originally got into training to bulk up for rugby. I followed a free bodybuilding.com programme that introduced me to squats, bench, and deadlifts - and I was instantly hooked on getting stronger. 

 Before long, I became the one all my mates asked for advice. That naturally turned into powerlifting - and eventually, coaching.

 My approach levelled up massively after working with my mentor and coach, Joe. He’s had a huge impact on my coaching style, my knowledge, and my love for strength & conditioning - especially the idea that progress shouldn’t come at the cost of your health. 

What I help people with

Most people don’t actually need more motivation. They need:

 

  • a plan that fits their schedule
     
  • simple progression so they always know what to do
     
  • technique feedback so they lift with confidence
     
  • accountability that keeps them consistent when work gets hectic

That’s exactly what my coaching is built around.

My coaching principles:

 

1) Simplicity (majoring in the basics)
We get really good at the main lifts and the movements that carry over. No random exercises for the sake of novelty.

2) Movement positivity
Training should build you up - not punish you. We push hard, but we train in a way that keeps you moving well and feeling capable.

3) Athlete-first, health-first
You don’t need to “wreck yourself” to make progress. The goal is strength you can keep - not a short-term peak followed by burnout or injury.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for 5+ years, and coaching/working in the business for 3+ years.


I’m also a competitive powerlifter:
Squat 220kg | Bench 142.5kg | Deadlift 240kg


But coaching isn’t about what I can lift - it’s about helping you build strength, consistency, and confidence through a clear process.

Who I’m best suited to help:

 

You’ll do well with me if you’re a busy professional who:

  • wants to get genuinely strong without living in the gym
     
  • is tired of stalling or programme hopping
     
  • wants proper technique feedback and coaching guidance
     
  • wants accountability that’s supportive, but still pushes you
     

It’s probably not a fit if you:

  • want quick fixes
     
  • don’t want to check in weekly
     
  • aren’t ready to follow a structured plan

The best place to start is the 6-Week Pathway - it’s structured, coached, and designed to create momentum fast.



Online Pathway - £150 (6 weeks)
Full coaching delivered online: programme, weekly check-ins, technique feedback, messaging support, monthly call, and nutrition guidance.


Hybrid Pathway - £297 (6 weeks)
Everything in Online, plus 1 × 60-minute in-person session per week.


 

In-person sessions are based at Macclesfield Performance (SK11 7JL).
